Welcome to History at Northern's Announcements page! Here you will find curriculum-wide opportunities posted as they arise.
Northern students travel to Europe - Holland, Belgium and France (November 4 to 13, 2016). We are excited to be sending a number of Grade 10 and 11 students to Europe to trace Canada's history in the Great War and in WWII. Students will visit Beumont-Hamel and Vimy Ridge during the year of the 100th Anniversary of those battles and be at Canada's Juno Centre in Normandy on Remembrance Day.
